Here is the big 2 year old birthday boy, all smiles. He loved having it be his birthday. His favorite quote of the day was "Hap Bday to me!" He said it all day long and continued to do so for several days after his birthday too!
This is a crazy hat that Grandma Micki gave him with his present.
He loved opening his presents - and the cards too. He didn't want help. With each card, he would pick apart the envelope until it was in shreds, then open up the card and pretend he was reading it by talking some jibberish and then would end with "Hap Bday to me!", put it down and move on to the next one!

He loved having us sing to him. The smile on his face while we were all singing was priceless. After he had blown out his candles and was eating his pie, he said "More hap bday to me!" Apparently he liked getting all the attention!
So that is that. I think I am slowly but surely getting over my bronchitis - still have the stuffy head, runny nose and little cough, but I feel 100% better than I did on Thursday! Enjoy the pics!
Yay!! A post from the Tee's!! I love it! And, of course, I have soo much to say. First of all, Coleman looks so grown up! And I love that he enjoyed his day so much. Sounds like so much fun. I miss that 2-year-old funniness! Secondly, I LOVE the picture of the belly (or belt, whatever) -- makes me just want to grab him up! What a CUTE little tummy! Third, in the picture of all 3 kids -- OMG -- Annika looks even more like you than EVER! Please, someone agree with me on this. That is TOTALLY YOU in 1982. And lastly, I'm glad you are feeling better! Thanks so much for the post! And I'll be watching for you on Facebook!
ReplyDeleteOh, and also, I am sooo sorry -- remember when I found out you guys don't have a little people barn, and I said that is what I was going to get Coleman for his birthday? Well, I totally forgot until Saturday when I saw one at WalMart. I'm so mad at myself. Did he get one? I'm totally going to get him one if not.
Dang it -- I forgot to mention one more thing -- I just love Annika's posing in the background of the crazy hat picture! Such a girl thing! Never miss a chance to be in a pic! Hilarious!
